Final Four open debate
« on: November 14, 2011, 11:33:04 AM »
OK, one week in and half the teams are out.  So far there have not been any major upsets in the 4A-D2 playoffs.

I know that most of the region 1'ers on this board will pick either Stephenville or Aledo as the R1 representative.

Who do you believe that final 4 will consist of?  (And no...  Acat, Aledo cannot represent all 4 regions)

Region 1  ALEDO
Region 2  Corsicana
Region 3  Brenham
Region 4  Kerrville Tivy

Any guess on who I think will win it all ?

Aledo has a big hurdle in Summit Friday night . They have speed speed speed, their one loss to Mansfield which is a 5a school I believe.

Summit has a lot of talent and good position players. Waco however did turn the ball over 4 times and that may have been the difference. I know our kids believe that this will be a tough game, and i'm glad they feel that way. Usually that means a focused group. I still dont see a defense in D2 stopping our O, so weather you want to say the weight of the season rests on the O to score everytime we get the ball or on our D to come up with 3-4 stops, someone has to step up. Our kicking game is miles ahead of where it was in week 0, of coarse there was no where to go but up...

I would like to hear from DD since he has seen Summit in person.

Now back to AtownBcat's regularly scheduled BS........
