I think the odds of us going 3A are 85% or better with that number.

That will be a high rating day for KSTV. I assume you will be reporting live again on realignment day.

Most media saying 1000.  999 sounds better.

well i think its sad..and nothing will good about going to 3a period, nothing

I hate the fact that our enrollment is suffering losing numbers every year (no growth)and we are losing our shine

Thats funny mikeu.  Let's see, forget football for just a second, and think about how all the other sports would benefit from competing with schools that actually have close to the same numbers that we have.  Instead of having to face a school like Midway that has close to 2200 students in it, we would play schools comparable to our enrollment, or maybe even play a school with half our enrollment.  That is a bad thing?

As far as losing our shine?  Really?  The volleyball team just beat that same Midway team on Tuesday, and all of our other sports made the playoffs last year, and things are looking even better this year.  Yep, moving to 3A would be really sad.  Give me a break.

As far as dropping to 3A though.  I will beleive it when I see it.

Stephenville baseball is going to go at least 3 rounds deep in the playoffs the next two years whether they drop to 3A or not. Might even make a run at state if they some good pairings.

and no I'm not a player or parent

If you stay 4A, its the same old problem you have in football.  ALEDO has a very talented Soph  baseball team. :)

When playing eleven players on the field, you can compete and even excel versus schools with 2,100 students. However, when playing other sports, it puts you at a tremendous disadvantage. When playing a big school in basketball, the odds of finding five people that can play at a high level is much easier with 2,100 students than 1,000 students. Also don't forget, when Sville was winning state championships in the 90's, the top of 4A was 1,500. Big difference.
